C.U. Oldtymer's Training Camp down in numbers....

For the first time in franchise history, the Swan Valley C.U. Old Tymer's opened training camp as the defending champions. A less than stellar turn out for the one evening camp, left some veteran's wondering if the post Championship celebration had been taken to the extreme. Many of the veteran players or better put , all returning vets were in anything but game shape. It was quite obvious that the strict off season dry land training regime that helped get this organization to the top, was shunned in favour of a more relaxed off season of long hours on the links or ball diamond followed by endless hours of over indulging in high carb refreshments. Time will tell if this type training will reap the same benefits ??
