SVCU Take One On the Chin... 7-3

Thoughts of the redemption  "Dream Match "  in the "A" Final were all but snuffed out when CU fell victim to the Kenville ( Southern Manitoba) Flyer Selects. After jumping out to a commanding 3 goal lead, SVCU ran into penalty trouble allowing Kenville to even the match before the period was out. Kenville opened the second period by with two quick goals courtesy of a power play, and never looked back. Failing to execute on a 5-3 power play, CU scoring woes continue. It is now a waiting game to see who they face in the "B" side semi-final Sunday morning. If all things fall into place, it could be a classic match up with cross town rivals Swan River Raiders. Should be a gooder!!!
