Marvin "Sniper" Clarkson sets new SVCU record, but yearns to have moves like this 13 year old...

A game in which the score rivaled that of any "All Star" exhibition played on the weekend, SVCU skated to a 16-6 victory over Swan River Action. Demolishing the single game goal scoring record, Clarkson inked his name into the record book by denting the twine no less than 10 times. Gary "Duke" Kennedy opened the scoring with a tricky floater that seemed to handcuff the opposition goaltender. Freshly off a "fun in the sun" hiatus, Kennedy seemed preoccupied, deperately trying to shake the sand out his skates. Dennis "Surgeon" Bowles, recently returning from Vegas with his shirt still on his back, played a strong game, feeding Clarkson on many of his record breaking goals. Veteran blue liners "Hips" Henklemen and Craig "Zammer" Zamzow provided some offense punch potting a pair each. Pat "Crash" Morden and Jeremy "OT Kid" Gray, seeing duty on the blue line, played a strong, physical game. Still working out equipment issues, Mike "Smitty " Smith turned the game around with a stellar leg save on the last of three penalty shots that he faced. SVCU continues this week with a home game Wednesday night against the "Silver Seven", then finishing with a road trip to Benito to take on the Kenville Flyers.
