SVCU skates to a 15 - 4 win.....

The SVCU Old Tymer's took the Swan River Raiders to task with an impressive offensive outing , lead by non other than Marvin "Sniper" Clarkson. Clarkson, centering flashy right winger Jeremy "OT Kid" Gray and Rob "Hands" McDonald, found the back of the net no less than five times. Feeling sorry for the under achieving McDonald, Clarkson added three helpers a side to each of his hard working line mates. Tiring from watching his stone handed left winger send yet another knuckle puck into the belly of the opposing goalie, Clarkson took it upon himself to work on improving his shooting percentage. Playing a more defensive game, the combination of Aaron "Trapper" Goethe, Jeff "Skinny" Knight , and Pat "Crash" Morden failed to capitalize on countless scoring opportunities. Rear guards Warren "Wheels " Gray, Derek "Hips" Henklemen , Craig "Zammer" Zamzow and Blaine "Soup" Campbell contributed offensively and kept things tidy in their own end. Keeping Mike "Smitty " Smith sharp, a few errant passes were quickly turned into glorious scoring chances for the Raiders. .Once again the cagey puck stopper rose to the occasion, snuffing out any come back attempt. The second of back to back games has SVCU playing the RCMP Thursday night .
